Excellent onsite workmanship and attention to detail is critical in achieving the required Passivhaus standards. To aid this process a new qualification has been developed by the Passivhaus Institut to recognise those tradespeople that can demonstrate the required level of knowledge to construct a building to the Passivhaus standard.
This qualification will provide a seal of approval for contractors and builders and provide them with a distinction which will make them well placed to build Passivhaus’. The qualification will also give clients reassurance that a PHI qualified tradespeople will have the required level of experience and knowledge to construct a building to meet the Passivhaus requirements.
The new qualification will be delivered by BRE and will be held at BRE’s main site in Watford.
